I'm interested if there are some pianists in this forum. I have made some sheet music of couple of PSIII&IV songs so I can share them if you like. The songs are:

PSIII - Town
PSIII - Dark Force
PSIV - Jijy no Rag
PSIV - Motavia Town

More to come in the future.

You have those in .mid files?
PSIII - Town music is great.

Because I can't afford a piano I'm thinking of buying usb-midi-keyboard.

I've made some guitar/bass and piano arrangements for a few PS songs which I hope to record someday... We should definately ask someone to put up a sheet music sub-section within the Music tab.

Unless you have a recording studio with a wide range of instruments at your disposal, you're better off going with a midi-keyboard. Even one from Walmart for $70 will get you what you need. It won't be great, but it'll get you started for damn sure!

I'm going to try to get myself a Triton. I was afforded the opportunity of learning piano for a short period of time and a friend taught me a lot on how to use & record with a keyboard.

One of the people I'm looking to enlist into my team is also a very capable guitarist and keyboardist. I think with him doing programming, I'd at least have someone to help smooth the music writing process.

I'm not a Pianist, but I really would like to try it out someday so I can play classic hits from "CastleVania: Symphony of the Night" 8)

If you've the will and drive to learn and teach yourself, all you need is a keyboard with pre-programmed songs in it. Try to buy one with more classical pieces which'll teach you more than the basics of keyboard. Beethoven & Mozart are obvious choices, but if you can manage Paganini's 5th Capris, you shouldn't require much else.

The first thing I learned on piano were Power chords

I have access to a pretty fancy studio just around the block, where I've recorded a few of my own songs as well as a slight remix of the PSI dungeon theme. I have plenty of other themes ready to go, but recently haven't felt any real urge to make something. Guess I'm having a bit of downtime at the moment.

By the way, Phantasy Star sounds awesome on a real Hammond 8)

I'll keep that in mind for sure. Thanks for the tip 8)

I'm planning to do a Phantasy Star piano medley but I can't decide which songs I should choose. PS3 town theme is my absolute favourite, I'm gonna play that but that's all I have chosen so far. I haven't played PS1 and PS2 yet but I have listened some of their songs and there are some really nice tunes. Suggestions anyone?
