Copy that.

Wii is the only console that I might buy.

360. the ps3 really has nothing going for it. Unless you really enjoy installing everyone of your games.

So It's basically a PC? You need to install each game to hd?

the majority of the games for the ps3 require an installation. And all it does really is take up 3-4 gigs of space and subtracts 1-5 seconds off the loading time. But like a pc? yes and no. It just a console but you can put linux on it if you choose.

Linux side is a nice feature, but it's problematic when you cannot really get much out of graphic acceleration because Sony hasn't released any good drivers. :|

They've all got games that I want to play, and that's that. However, I own none of them.

I also have no plans on getting a 'high definition' TV either.

you don't have to. In fact MS makes its easy for you by giving you a 2in1 composite and component cable in teh box. Sony on the other hand will make you either buy an hdmi cable, a component or composite all by themselves.

well actually my deal was:

£345=
System
2 sixaxis (DS3) controllers
HDMI cable
1 game (COD4)
1 bluray film (I am legend)

I have a 19" HDTV in my room, not 1080, but its still awsome

I voted for PS3.
It has more features than Xbox 360.

But I'd still buy Wii.

Be like me - have both

wbat i have noticed is that wii is full of party games and mini/offline multiplayer games.

PS3 has intense hardcore solo STORY and better online multiplayer.

Maybe later I'll buy Wii. But not PS3.
I already have a laptop that can run all the old retro games and play HD-video.
I just need an external display.

I voted 360. Everything I want on PS3 is on 360 as well. The only game I would buy PS3 for is Gran Turismo.

There are hardcore, challenging games on the Wii. Even if you want to stay away from Zelda and Metroid.

In fact, what will probably happen is that the Wii will get more hardcore titles. Dead Space is coming to the Wii now. Why? Money of course. During this economic crisis companies need to make cash.

Yeah, Nintendo's online sucks. But its not the fault of the games, its the company itself.

In the end, I still pick Wii. Reason being is that I see more value in a powerful PC/Laptop. There is nothing better than hooking up a laptop that can run Fallout 3 to a television through HDMI and sound into a stereo.
