I first read about it from the UK's Sega Saturn Magazine years ago, but I haven't bothered to purchase a copy.
So is it any good? The cutesy graphics might be a bit of a letdown for me, but that hasn't stopped me from playing these games before.

Hmm, could you provide a screenshot so I can make an accurate assumption on what I might think of it?

Besides, I'm making this place busier by posting moar threads. Benoit should be proud.

it was a good game. It has some funny dialouge and a decent story. The only parts i didn't enjoy were the boss battles becasue they felt slow and seem to drag on. in fact the final battle is like 20-30 minutes long with my party around level 60.

I've never even touched a Sega Saturn. I heard nothing but bad things of it. Had a chance to get one not too long ago, but changed my mind. I heard there were some good RPGs, and I heard one of them was Albert Odyssey.
I own a copy.

It's one of the best rpg's for the saturn, in my opinion. It's very traditional, it has wonderful music, very colorful, and was translated by Working Designs ( and all that implies). The only real problem is loading between battles. It's a really fun game. If my saturn were still working, I'd probably fire it up right now. I'd go ahead and get it if I were you.
