I already spend time in an anti-emo chat room, so it wouldn't take too much to have a #pscave window open.

Anti-emo chat room ??? awesome ! I wouldn't mind giving the chatroom a look either sounds like a good idea to me

Here's Malakai's guide to mIRC, everyone.

Better version of the mIRC Guide (Courtesy of Malakai)
1) Click here>>
http://www.mirc.com/get.html
2) scroll down on the page until you see a list of files that are labled mIRC 6.16 [site].
3) Since you live in Massachusetts, I reccommend the Massachusetts site. (If you're not from that region, ignore this part and proceed on downloading the file for the region you live in)
4) After you click on the hyperlink, you will receive a prompt (a dialogue/text box will open) and you will have the option to either A) open the file or B) save the file to disk. Click on 'SAVE'.
5) Another dialogue/text box will open asking you where you want save it. Save it to your desktop. This will make it easier.
6) After the file finishes downloading, close the download dialogue box. Go to your desktop and double click on the new icon, which will look like a box with a little dialogue window behind it. This will allow you to install mRIC.
6) When the installer has finished installing, mIRC will open automatically and a box will pop up asking you if you want to register online yet. Skip that for now.
7) Next, (are you still with me?) another window will open automatically. This is the mIRC options window. There will be several text boxes for you to fill out:
Full Name:
Email Address:
Nickname:
Alternative:
8) Now comes the tricky part. On the left side of this window is your options menu. Click on the option 'Connect' (remember you're on the LEFT SIDE OF THE WINDOW and this menu should already be opened) and under that list you'll see 'Servers'. Click on 'Servers'.
9) The window will change, and there will be a text box on this page titled 'IRC server'. Click on the arrow on the right, and this will open a list of all the mIRC servers.
10) Scroll up/down on the list until you find GameSurge: Random US server. Choose that as your server.
11) Click on 'Connect To Server' towards the bottom of the window (it has a little flower icon by it).
12) You will now be connected to mIRC. A window will once again automatically open and let you choose which channel you want to join.
13) TYPE in #pscave and hit ENTER on the keyboard.
14) You will now at long last, if you succeeded in following these instructions, be in the pscave chat room.

[size=small][Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1126746070[/TIME]][/size]
