Mensa are the type of people to get in the situation to disarm a bomb and they spend all 20 minutes left talking about how to figure out which wire to cut.. What mathematical equation and go through various bomb types to figure out how to stop it, and no one can make a decision because EVERYONE is RIGHT because THEY are SMARTER than everyone else.
And all they had to do was hit the button that said "CANCEL".
Mensa guys are so full of themselves that they make the dumbest mistakes and often die first many times.
Too much thinking is bad..
Flaunting too much thinking is worse..
P.S. If I get in that situation with a bunch of Mensa freaks, I'm running the hell away.. If their not smart enough to figure it out in their little ELITE group, Why the heck should I?
LOL.. My life is more important!

My feelings exactly...Mensa seems so caught up in their intelligence that they can't really function. Every year they get together and pretty much achieve nothing, but rather they spend the time proving how smart they are to the others.
I don't believe IQ tests can test every aspect of intelligence. They can't...so many people think an entirely different way from what we could even call "thinking."

I agree, Mensa = teh suck. One shouldn't have to go around flaunting his/her intelligence to make it known, but rather it should be a given to those who have associated with them, and witnessed it first-hand, while having taken part with them in an event -- whether it be as minor as playing a game of Chess, or as important as engaging in a conversation that could determine whether they live or die -- that called for it.

Mono: Believe me, you'd not want my life, if even for an instant... >:/

I can say I am quite satisfied with my own life as it is now. But I am sure you would freak out if you were in my shoes. Maybe itĀ“s more a matter of how you deal with it than the things that happen and pull you down.

Monocromatico, the big difference is that you have a place to call home, while OnnaWren doesn't...
