okay, just came back from this two days ago...

It was pretty good. There was lots of classic arcade themed music, lots of Sonic and Mario and some Square. The best bit was the intro to Chrono Cross performed live by the Video Game Pianist. While I'm not a Square whore, I do love the Chrono series and that is a beautiful song.

The only complaint I have about it was that it was a big hype for new games and was too big-evil-corporation-friendly for my liking. It was sponsored by Microsoft and had Disney adverts in it, wtf was with that?

Well, I'm not going to the London show obviously, but I am going to the show on Nov.10th in Calgary. I'm really looking forward to it, especially since it's at the Calgary Philharmonic instead of a place made for sports-- the acoustics are so much better. The Sattledome in Calgary is just plain loud... I went to Rush there, and despite being an excellent show, the acoustics weren't as good as in other places and I felt that perhaps some of the inner parts gots lost.
Anyway, really looking forward to the show.
The black queen chants
The funeral march,
The cracked brass bells will ring;
To summon back the fire witch
To the Court of the Crimson King.

You have hit the nail on the head.

Being that Calgary is my turf, I have been to many locations for musical reasons.

Best concert quality-wise was Alice Cooper at the Jubilee Auditorium. That place is built for sound.
