I'm still looking forward to the North American release.

Very much looking forward to it, as well as the other 3D-ages games. (Thogh Ps1 is naturaly the most anticipated!)<br>Yep, I'm one for nostalgia!

since I havn't got a PS2, I'm not going to buy it, unless they release a GC port that is Yeah right, like that'll hapen !@#$

It's even more disappointing when you know that they easily could have made this a PSX game. PSX consoles are cheap nowadays, so it would have had a larger audience and be more readily available.

Actually, it doesn´t even go near that. Could have been made ages ago for PSX as well with the same quality.<br>

Heh, around the time I'd bought a PSX, I was even more intrigued by Phantasy Star-related material than I am now, so it would've been one helluva surprise to have seen PS:G1 on the PSX. All I had was PS IV; the other games included in the Phantasy Star saga were a complete mystery to me, and internet access was not an option at the time, simply due to a lack of availability.

I'm just happy to see that haven't given up on the series completely. It's been too long since we've gotten any traditional Phantasy Star games.

The only reason we are seeing these remakes is because there was a high demand for it, and a third party company is funding Sega for the job.<p>This was no initiative on Sega's part at all.
