This website has been a great resource for Phantasy Star for a long time, and PSIII is no exception. That said, something that I noticed a long time ago is that a lot of the locations listed for enemies are wrong.
Sometimes they’re not the first appearance of the enemy and more obvious locations aren’t listed, while some are just completely wrong. I’ve redone them myself, listing just one location per enemy and to keep it fair, I’ll only list a location if it’s somewhere you’d encounter in normal play through, if applicable, since the third generation gets trippy with enemy placement.
I’ve started with front-row monsters, then I’ll do back-row monsters, then front-row cyborgs, and finally back-row cyborgs.

This website uses Hugues Johnson’s website on PSIII as its source for the locations - which is still a great resource regardless! Link -
https://huguesjohnson.com/ps3/enemies.htmlSome enemies technically do appear earlier - the Feral Bots can appear on Landen’s Castle grounds in the second generation, but there’s zero reason for you to go there, so I didn’t bother listing it.
The third generation is kinda trippy because there’s a lot of optional locations. I listed the Landen-Elysium passage for the Griffin and Morte because if you’re playing as Adan or Crys, that’s the first cave you go to.
I just wanted to make this thread since it was something I had a lot of knowledge on. Thanks for reading!
