Random old men in PS1 towers...

...that say weird things like "if you want to turn back, now is the time".

Why are these people there? Do they live there? Do they subsist on a diet of fried Amundsen and Androcop soup?

It’s possible that they’re hermits of sorts. Their diet is a mystery to me still.
