Phantasy Star III story question

I was taking a look at the japanese script of PSIII and the names Ohario & Aina come up during the explanation of palma's destruction. I know Lutz tells Eusis/Rolf that he's Alisa's descendant but, could have Ohario & Aina been descendants of Odin & Alisa who died some time before Eusis/Rolf was born & Lutz woke up? The script says the ships were built AFTER the two of them died and when you consider that 400 were made secretly it must have taken a long time. Have these name been mentioned anywhere else?

Hmm. Interesting question. I'd have to read the script for myself.

It implies that Alis and Odin ended up having children together?

I think the family lines kept in touch over the years even after the Landale line quit ruling Palma. Also as far as I know Odin's full name has never been revealed so it's possible that Ohario, Tyler & Orakio are his descendants(Rolf has blue hair while Alisa has brown so who cares that Orakio's is black & Rhys' is blue).

After all these years, I've never given a thought for that. But now that you've said it... Yeah, why not?

I would imagine the developers intended Rhys to be some sort of relation to Rolf given the blue hair, looks and fact he wields swords. Rolf could use abilities Rhys cannot suggesting Rolfs ancestors were more human than anything else.

However the PS3 story is a bit rushed and bodged so a lot of it is left to player choice.

For my remake I consider Layans to be Humans/Numans and Orakians to be Humans/Cybrogs. You have to remember PS3 is at least 1,000 maybe 2,000 years later as the Alisa III has been travelling in space a long time.

Laya and Orakio were obviously from one of the Algol planets so it's whether or not they are linked to any of the characters in PS1 or PS2... P4 the party discover the Alisa III details so rules out Chav or his people being linked.

Nah, Rolf's offspring runs a chain of armor shops throughout Alisa III.

Lutz clearly says Rolf/Eusis is the last descendant of Alis. Thats why Mother Brain killed his parent, and tried to kill him, 10 years prior.

Orakio and Laya have no relation to Alis or Rolf. They were from Palma. PS2 Generation states that they are part of an anti-Motherbrain faction and coordinated the ships leaving Palma.
The fact Orakio, Rhys, etc weild the Neisword is moot, because its not the real Neisword; Elcydeon is, and thats on Dezo.

The trope of being related to someone from thousands of years ago doesn’t really make any sense. Going back a thousand years, you have a more than a billion ancestors. Couldn’t all Motavians be descendants by the time Rolf was alive?
