seriously I want the game even more now *pushes waiting list to go faster* times like this I wish I could bribe these companys to send it faster XD

whats great about the 3-level attack system is the greater the level, the cooler your targeting indicator transforms. <p>at level 3 it looks like a rainbow 6-pointed star. ^_^<p>man the special effects and animations are HOT!!!!!!!!<p>Arrrrgh!! they need to remake PSIII!!! aaaaaaaaah!!!

Screw PS3 (although a remake wouldn't hurt) get on with PS4 and give me some screens already!!

PSIV is already perfect as it is.

Can someone please confirm that this is the version that will be released in the United States on June 1, 2005? I'm blown away by those videos.

I can confirm that it will *not*. Until we get a solid Japanese release date for PSG3 (PSIV remake), any date for the english versions is just a placeholder with no validity.<p>-Corey

Thanks so much for the reply. What prompted me to list that June 1 date was the following link: http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/rpg/segaage ... ntasy+star. Is it that the date on that page is speculative, or is it that we're talking about two different games entirely: one that is definitely going to be released in the U.S. (the one listed with the June 1 date) and one that may or may not be released in the U.S. (the one with the awesome videos). Sorry I'm not as informed as I need to be!

No prob, it's confusing because dates keep getting kicked out the door by retailers. The story is this, essentially:<p>'Phantasy Star Trilogy' is going to be the English version of the Phantasy Star: Generation 1, 2 & 3 (read: PSI, PSII, and PSIV remakes) games...of course an English version can't exist of a Japanese game, if the Japanese games aren't even out yet ;p<p>Thing is, retailers want interest (read: preorders) in the product, so they put a date that they believe is feasible until they get a solid date from the publisher...problem with that is, the retailers don't know anything in this case (even stating the wrong games that are in this 'trilogy'), so they just keep cranking out dates and pushing them forward when those dates come and go without any release.<p>-Corey

*is totally late on this topic, but feels the need to add input anyhow *<p>Anywho, the videos look great and I'm definitely loving what they did with the music more than with PSG1. Sounds MUCH more like the original... which is usually a good thing. The water on the worldmap looks really cool to me for some reason, as well...<p>Just my 1 1/2 cents.
