Garuberk Tower exclusive enemies and Holyword

The enemies in the Garuberk Tower are vulnerable to Factor 8 (Holyword). This does make sense in that they are evil type enemies, which are vulnerable to it, unlike biomonsters and robots. However...

Raja is the only one with Holyword, and it's not possible to bring Raja there without glitches/cheating/hacking. Elsydeon has a supplemental Holyword effect, but you can't go there with Elsydeon, either. It's similar to the Alys/Moonslasher.

My guesses:
  • monsters were created before storyline was finished properly
  • monsters were created before characters were given their abilities
I believe in former a little more. Bringing a priest to fight the evil in to the "tower of evil" would be the obvious thing to do. But as we know, evil knocked the priest down before it was possible.

Probably because they're similar to enemies Holyword can be used on, and other palettes can be Holyworded, and there's no reason why they couldn't be Holyworded if Raja was there, so them being weak to Holyword is just left in the games code.

Another interesting thing is that all biological characters resist (01 multiplier) Factor 9 (Brose), and Demi and Wren have a 2 multiplier (normal). No enemies use Brose or anything similar, so that may lend credence to the idea that the resistances were set before they decided exactly who would be able to use what abilities.

It was probably just done for consistency. It would be weird to make enemies before the plot of a game has been finalised, but that’s just my speculation.

The androids in the Bio-Plant are weak against electricity/Factor 7, even though there’s nothing that uses the element at that point in the game.
