So, I was over thinking Phantasy Star 3 and something occurred to me.

Why did Dark Force slip aboard the world ships?

Isn't his job to weaken the seal so the Profound Darkness can return? How does tormenting and killing the remains of the Palmian race do that?
By hiding on a world ship, he left the Algol System completely and Light knows how far away he ends up. So I think its actually bad for him to do it.

Is he just enjoying tormenting them so much that he's forgotten his whole purpose, or is he really just a monster with low intelligence?

Palma was already destroyed, so in that sense you could say that his job was done. At the end of the day, though, Dark Force is evil incarnate, so of course he'd love to chase Palmanians who escaped their planet's destruction.

There is a whole school of thinking (that's constituted basically by me alone ) that believes the sentient people of Palma could be part of the seal, and to fully aweaken the seal, palmans everywhere should be eliminated.

But considering the very nature of Dark Force, another valid answer would be "why not"?

Imagine you are Dark Falz.
You successfully weakened one seal by having a satellite crash into Palma.
Since that worked, why not slip on a world ship and try to crash that into Dezo or Mota?
Worth a shot.

I’m really confused over Dark Force suddenly became so strong. He goes from being unable to fight three people and a cat to destroying hundreds of giant spaceships!?
