Phantasy Star 3 advert

[darkwraith007]

So I came across this random advert when browsing through an old manual of mine from 'Shining in the Darkness' USA for the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive.
I'm curious whether this advert is accurate or if it has stuff that didn't make it into the final game.

Wasn't sure where else to post this as it seems this site (oddly enough) doesn't have a section for posting adverts from magazines/manuals for historical archival and discussion.
And before you ask, yes I did the Escapipe Trick. I was quite amused (and a bit creeped out by the silent guards too).
Going to play through some rom hacks of Phantasy Star 2 and 4 before I finish up 3.

Looks accurate to me. The stuff it lists is pretty basic.

That advert is almost exactly the same as the back cover of the American PS III Genesis box:

The actual 2-page PSIII print ad seen in U.S. game magazines:

Here is Electronic Gaming Monthly's first sneak peak at PS III:

EGM #11 - June 1990.

By the time that issue hit newsstands and reached subscribers mailboxes, PS III was already released in Japan, April 1990.

Wasn't in stores in the U.S. until July 1991.
