"Who does this guy think he is? He thinks because he shoots off guns and that he's a hunter, that he is some kind of tough guy? Look, who's the one that is required to stay in their respective party for the entire game? ME. That's right. You don't even have to use Rudo. He can just hang out at Rolf's house and flirt with Amy or something while I kill THREE Dark Forces and the Profound Darkness. I'm a natural born leader, man. I grew up on the streets. Nobody gave me anything. But there's a reason why Rune decided to entrust me with the Elsydeon. Did Rudo get the Elsydeon? No, he didn't. He can't even use techniques, for goodness sake. What good is someone who can't even use RES?"

Rudo's comments:

"Really? You guys are seriously considering naming Chaz as better and more useful than me? The monsters in Algo devolved in the 1000 years after I took care of business. Chaz could have taken a nap the entire time while Wren, Rika, and Rune did the heavy lifting. What does Chaz really do that's so impressive? Rayblade? Use healing techniques that can't hold a candle to those of Raja or Rika, and use Nathu in boss battles until he runs out of TP (which happens really quickly, I might add)? That little punk didn't even want to save Algo. Rune had to take him into it. So did Le Roof. I did what I knew had to be done - and I did it without much help. Yeah, I'm sure having Hugh use the freakin' Storm Gear every turn because his attack is worthless, and Shir disappear from Ryuon because she's a selfish bimbo REALLY would have helped Chaz. Who took out the enemies most of the time? ME. Maybe Rolf. Nei was good, then Nei died. Unless you are high or something, you don't even THINK of leaving me at Rolf's house. You'd at least consider trading Chaz out at some points. And he had four people to help him, while I only had three! It's ridiculous that this is even a question."
