PS2 - Anyone Else Get The Level 48 MISS Syndrome??

I swear it is annoying as HELL...seems like your characters MISS on attack an inordinate amount of the time when you are on Level 48.

Once I get back into playing PSâ…ˇ, I'll try that out with Nei (she's Lv36 I think)

@Kalisiin, can you tell me the dexterity values of the characters missing often at level 48? I know it's a little of an old topic so you probably don't have a save anymore, but I am curious...

Oh, I see. You're thinking the dexterity value is higher than 255, which means the integer holding the value flows back, right? :)

You got it right. :) I found this bug some time ago. To put it simply a value used in the calculation of the hit rate is truncated, thus after 255 it flows back to 0, and the same goes with 511 and so on. I'm positive it's that, but I wanna wait for Kalisiin's reply on the dexterity values to confirm that the frequent misses are due to this bug.
