Phantasy Star 2 Error Message Help!!

Hi , I'm new here and I have a question for you.

I bought a copy of Phantasy Star II on ebay, I received it, cleaned it and put it in my Genesis.

That's where things go bad. It loads to the start screen and when I press start the game, it told me that there is a problem with the data. It tries to fix it but can't, I finally got to the start menu where I can select new game, continue or erase.

When I press new game it told me that there is no free room, if I save in game over it, the data don't save. If I choose continue the game can't load the data. And I can't erase the files that are all mark as Lvl 6 or 4.


that's from a emulator but thats the message I get.

Please help me folks

Never had anything like this occur.

Don't know for sdure if this will help you, but I found this:

This apparently is a group of prograsms that allow you to dump a Genesis cart onto your computer.

Now, if there's a way to then send BACK to the cart from the computer, you might be able to manually erase the saved games on your cart, and then it might work.

If not, there's a possibility you could create a ROM (shhhh) using this tool, and then play your legitimately-purchased game....on an emulator instead of a console.
