Many people don't like Crys and say he's the hardest Third Generation character to use. I disagree. With the Force Shield and Force Claw, healing spells never need to be used outside of battle (and rarely inside of battle). The only battles where Gires would need to be used continuously would be Dark Force and MAYBE Rulakir. For this, you have Laya for Gires and Mieu for Rever if things get bad. Other than that, Crys is the most powerful physically of all the Third Generation characters. His knock isn't actually a knock on him, but a knock on the fact that you get the worse of the two Karas. But Crys really is a very strong character, and an underrated one at that.

Was that PS2 Hugh or PS4 Hugh?

PS2 Hugh was pretty useless in my opinion, but PS 4 Hugh was a great healz.

Crys was ok..I guess. First time I ever saw the ending to PS3 was a friend playing Crys. I first beat PS3 with Aron.
I liked Aron the best.

So against PS2 Hugh, Crys wins...but PS4 Hugh would be better in my opinion.

Unfortunately this poll ended a couple weeks ago and Hugh went ahead on a tiebreaker to the semifinals...Crys is the much better character in my opinion. The way I play PS3, he's actually the best Third Generation character, since I only use Laya to use Gires (Kara if I'm playing with Adan) and Mieu to use Rever in a pinch. I buy a Force Shield that I use exclusively out of battle to heal, and with the exception of Dark Force and MAYBE Rulakir, there's never a point where I would need to heal in-battle.

I wonder why I thought his name was Hugh???

For some weird reason it still seems right to me. Maybe I am secretly anti-Hahn.

Well, they are actually similar character-wise. Both use knives, can't wear heavy armor, and have techniques that are effective against biomonsters.
