Atlus, Sega, and Phantasy Star

Hey everyone,

I stumbled across a brief interview regarding Atlus's future after being acquired by Sega and what, if anything, will change as a result. Two things stuck out:

1. Sega acquired Atlus because of their ability to make great RPG's that sell well in the west.

2. Sega, "definitely love to have them {Atlus} utilize any of Sega’s dormant IPs."

Obviosuly, there is no confirmation here (or any mention of Phantasy Star) but it leaves the slightest sliver of hope that maybe we will see remakes of the Algol trilogy overseas. Who knows, maybe even new games in the traditional style but that notion probably goes above and beyond the realm of wishful thinking. Anyways, here's the interview:
