PSG1: Laconia Shield help

I've been able to get the sword, armor, and axe. However, after I completed Corona Tower and got the eclipse torch, a dezorian prevents me from exploring the cave that holds the shield, saying something to the effect of "you can't enter Corona tower...". What gives?

Check any FAQ u have to speak to a dezorian in gorgan manor (I think that's where hi is) and he will tell you about it. Then the guard will let you through.
