Hey guys, I'm new to the boards, but I've been playing Phantasy Star games for a long time. For some reason, I can't recall what the Algol System orbits. Is this ever referenced in any of the games? Just thought about it when reading about PS1 and couldnt come up with anything. Is it just a Sun like ours?

Afaik in real life Algol is a
binary star. But in PS universe it more like our Sun.
That brings me an idea... I could travel to it with
Celestia and take some photos (screenshots).

Actually, Algol is a triple star - and it's far too young to harbor life. It'll die way too young, too - the primary star is a super bright short lived B8 star.
Looking near Algol (using Celestia) - things aren't too promising. The only stars with in 10 light years appear to be dim sub-dwarfs. The closest Sun-like star is 15 ly away and actually has a planet - a gas giant at roughly the same place I'd put Palma.

I also "went" to see Algol using Celestia but, to my surprise, I saw only one star. :o

Here's Algol in Celestia.
I tried to look see the other stars there, but saw none.
As said, there should...
