It stands for Phantasy Star: Zero... a prequel tot he other PS games, hence "Zero".

Oh, I see. I've known about this for a while. My heart skipped when I read "Phantasy Star Zero" on RPGamer.com. I got excited only to be disappointed by what is actually is ... *sigh* Sega... Make Phantasy Star V please.. or atleast a real Phantasy Star Zero.

Because PSz seems to be a prequel of PSO, not to PSI, I heard.

It's Phantasy Star 0 (the number), and it's not a prequel to anything. It's yet another spin-off series. It's 0 because of starting anew.

Ok. I think it's just wishful thinking. They're using Phantasy Star title only because it will raise the brand (market value/sell more) of this game. :(

What a bunch of whiners. It's no wonder most of you don't know what makes a game a good game. Hell, most of the games I bought on a whim.

Titles I've bought on a whim and found myself astoundingly impressed:

Final Fantasy Tactics (never heard of it before it came out. Bought that same moment)

Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone

Riveria: The Promised Land

Phantasy Star Online (DC)

Drone Tactics

Luminous Arc 2

Phantom Brave (takes some getting used to, but is a really good game)

the list goes on, but this is all I want to list for now.

I did mention that I am a huge RPG/Strategy fan, so don't act too surprised.
