This thread is one I made just to find out what your favorite aspect of the series is... what you might like about the characters, what you think of the chronology and connections, who you think should be paired up, or anything else you can think of! Feel free to post here to your heart's content!

To post up my favorites...

Top 5 Characters...
5. Alys/Alis--- Come on, they're both the same person with 1 letter difference.

4. Dark Force--- Always either one of the last villains or at least a really tough boss in every game. Always puts up a good fight.

3. Zio--- Only appears sparingly in 4 and dies rather early, but he's a really cool foe that takes and deals a lot of damage before dying.

2. Rolf--- Possibly the strongest character in the Phantasy Star series. HE learns almost everything, and can become impossibly strong.

1. Chaz--- The last hero of the main series, and the first one that really has character develpoment through the story. That's why he stuck with me.

Top 5 Pairings...
5. Rolf and Nei--- This would have been higher up if Nei hadn't died so soon in the story.

4. Dark Force and Zio--- Just for laughs, but Zio does talk about Dark Force a little too... erm, initimately.

3. Alys and Rune--- Alys seems to hold Rune in high regard most of the time, and not much of their past "relations" are known.

2. Chaz and Rika--- This one seemed sort of obvious to me, as the end sort of, not directly, confirmed that there was some semblence of a strong bond between them.

1. Wren and Demi--- Demi absolutely ADORES Wren, as far as androids go. Every time she speaks of him, I can almost hear her sighing.

Top 5 Battles...
5. Juza--- He's only here because he spams on forceflash and kills me a lot with it...

4. Zio--- This fight was pretty tough for me. He should've been easier than he was, as I was over-leveled when I fought him, yet her still managed to kill Gryz and Rune before I took him out.

3. Lassic (PS1)--- Gave me more of a hard time than I predicted. He kept savaging my party, and although I never lost to him, I did almost die.

2. Dark Force (PS2)--- Even tougher than the last boss, Mother Brain, Dark Force could easily annihilate your party if you're unprepared. It took me 4 tries to beat him.

1. Profound Darkness--- This one battle alone took me almost 45 minutes to complete the first time I tried... because the first time I tried I forgot to go get Megid. Still, crappy music choice aside, it's the most epic battle in the series yet.

...No. They both have brown hair. That's the only similarity.

Oh that's right. I forgot that Alis used swords and stuff. And their personalities are completely different. My bad. Then again, it has been 5 years since I played PS1...

Yeah, of all the races besides the human ones, I like the androids the best, although Raja is one of my favorites because of his corny humor.

PSIV - some sad music (I don't remenber the name)

It's unbeliveable how some people can produce that good music themes with those sounchips found on SMS and Genesis.

Yeah, I agree. My personal favorite music is the fight with Zio... It was just epic.

Missgah--- Wren is completely and irrevocably awesome. Is the Wren from PS4 the same one from PS3? I never really found out. They look the same, but you never really know...

Some things (I don't remember which) quite clearly state that they aren't the same. Actually they both are Wren-type/model androids.

Somebody correct if I'm wrong. This is just how I remember it.

I also like Ladea Tower Music. I call it epic. :D

I just had a mental image of a million Wrens stomping the crap out of the Profound Darkness. It was funny. And I aslo like Mieu from PS3. She's the ONLY character in that game that's worth ANYTHING lol.

Of course, Lashiec all the way. *glees* But what if Lashiec and Dark Force fuse! =P Maybe DF wouldn't have been such a puss all these years.

Plus, Wren is second. I guess I need to make a Lashiec avatar for my fandom. O-O

Lashiec is pretty cool, the way he savages your party when you fight him. He totally destroyed me when I first encountered him. Then, when I fought him and beat him, only Rune survived... with 7 hp lol.

BTW: If you have played PSI you shoud regonize something familiar at the last deep levels of Air Castle... ;)
And I mean no enemies.

But there are enemies int he deepest lvls of air castle in both 1 and 4, right?
