Is Lutz... Noah?

PS 2 script..

This man wakes up once every ten years.
- The glorious man who used to fight to save Algo is buried here.
- This man was put into cold-sleep in order to watch over the future of Algo.
- When Mother Brain came, this man decided to hide in Dezo.
- We have been working for him since many generations ago.

[Edit by Lord Khyron on [TIME]1114715101[/TIME]]

Mistranslations of RPG character's names were commonplace back in the old days of gaming.
For example, on the Breath of Fire series, Ryu's first antagonist was called Myria on the BoF games she appeared in (BoF1 & 3), but Square, who translated BoF1 for the Western gaming audience, mistakenly called her Tyr instead of Myria. Despite the bad Western translations that the early BoF games have endured, they still remained faithful to their original Japanese storylines; they were not taken place in an alternate universe.
So, in conclusion, Mike Ripp's "PS alternate universe" theory is definitely flawed.

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1114715700[/TIME]]

Good grief DB, you're contesting to drag this out longer then even Teh Big Ripp himself! I still don't see why you're bothering to put up an argument when everyone's statements are backed up with more than you have to offer as 'proof.' The script and the games themselves prove more than you are doing with your obstinate stance.
"Noah is not Lutz because I say so and refuse to be a conformist!" %)

He is correct with his statements though. The PSIV script tells nothing at all.

No one by the name of Noah is ever mentioned in PSIV.

I'm not saying that the games are seperate continuities. I'm saying that no one thinks the US versions are valid.

If PS IV answers nothing.. then explain this.
In PS 1, the only person to ever visit the Air Castle and fight Lashiec was Noah.
Now in PS IV, Rune and the Thouls say that the "First Generation Lutz" fought a evil man in this castle 2000 years ago.
So, you're trying to say that Noah and Lutz BOTH went to the air castle? They both fought with Alisa?
See, That is wrong. You are ignoring the fact that PS IV claims the first generation Lutz fought Lashiec 2000 years ago.
Since Noah fought Lashiec.. let's do this equation
Noah + 2000 years + Fighting Lashic = Lutz +2000 years +fighting Lashiec.
There is no way in hell 2 different people fought LAshiec.
PS IV proves Noah = Lutz. There was no knowledge of the Air Castle in PS 2 at all. It is gone at the end of ps 1.
PS IV proves Noah = Lutz.
THE SAME DAMN PERSON FOUGHT LASHIEC!
God.. Just rule out a PS game that explains it all, because it damages your weak case?

I have come to the conclusion that Mike Ripp was on crack when he came up that theory, and I am not the only one who thinks that. :p
Anyone who agrees with Mike Ripp must've been trying out his stash. %)
[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1114729408[/TIME]]
