The Dark Force has no family members and should not be referred to in plural terms; after all, it is supposed to be an extension of a spirit being, as LeRoof putted it. The Prophallus monster is nothing more than just a cameo appearance of its incarnation from Phantasy Star 1. It has nothing to do with the main storyline.

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1112732656[/TIME]]

You don't seem to make any effort to understand, Khyron.
Place all the Dark Forces next to each other, and then look at PSG1's Dark Force. He is out of place.

You are saying PS g1's DF isn't a Dark Force because it looks DIFFERENT than the original, more alien.

No. It doesn't look like a Dark Force, simply put. It doesn't even look anything like the original it was based on.

Well the PS IV df's look vastly different from the PS 1/2 DF

Their body perhaps, but not their head and general feel. You can tell it's a Dark Force.

A creature from outer space: science fiction about an invasion of aliens.

That's the only definition that I attribute to alien. It's less confusing.

PSIII and PSII are very similar. PSIV are the odd ones.

Image
When the PS 1 DF opens his mouth, his face looks the same.
That image is more sinister to me.
That image has the same face as Prophallus too O.o

maybe he misses those hoolahoop things Dark Force always had? (except PSIII). you know like those hoolahoops golden things NeiFirst has in the PSII remake.
or maybe he just likes his Dark Forces blue?
anyways I'm more concerned about Mother Brain's remake appearance than Dark Force. ^_^ she better be still hot and goddess-like. drool......

[Edit by Saner2 on [TIME]1112749090[/TIME]]

That's the only definition that I attribute to alien. It's less confusing.

Don't you think that's rather ignorant? Only accepting one definition because it's simply less confusing? So, yes, you are right about PSG1's DF... if we're only using the definition you want to. Unfortunatly for you, I live in a land where words have more than one meaning whether you find it confusing or not. Essentially, you're splitting hairs again so you can simply say "I'm not wrong."
By the way, props to you for beating PSG2, PSP. I'm sure your social life has taken quite the beating as of late.
