Rolf and Nei's True Relationship

in this post i wish to explore the relationship between Rolf and Nei, for i've always held the endearing belief that there had always been something more to Rolf and Nei's relationship than being just mere step-siblings, i believe that Nei held some very strong feelings for Rolf right from the start while Rolf himself may have even subconsciously develop a thing for Nei.

let's take a look at some examples here:

i remember a conversation with someone on IGN? back in 2000.
the guy was saying how Rolf may actually have a thing for Nei
because he made her wear that tight skimpy purple suit,
instead of giving Nei real proper woman's clothes like Amy's robe or Shir's miniskirt.

Some old Doujins from 1994-1999, as you can see the Rolf and Nei pairing were quite popular back then.

Nei and Rolf were never even blood related siblings to begin with so there's really nothing wrong with them getting together.

Rolf and Nei would've eventually reached an age where age difference wouldn't really matter anymore.

so when Rolf hit the age of 40, Nei would technically be 20 years old.

then they'd be old enough to get married.

besides lots of 40yo guys married girls half their age. its not really a big deal i think.

for a side-character though she sure has a lot of official artwork with her and Rolf. HMMMM.

besides, Amy is a sweet girl and she will definitely be able to heal Rolf's "wound" of losing Nei.

Nei would become Rolf's little cute housewife who'd give him morning kisses and makes locust casserole for him to take to work everyday. he'd be the pride and envy of them all, that even Lutz is jealous and wishing he'd asked Alis to be his cute little housewife instead of putting himself in a freezer, but alas all is too late.

Data memory girl finally let go of her feelings for Rolf, and so erases all of Rolf's savefile. She and Rolf never meet again.

Rolf and Nei would go on to have many half-monster children, living a simple but happy life on the planet, growing old together and always by each other's side, just as Nei always wanted.

For over 50 years, Neifirst continue to wait for Rolf to come to climatecontrol but he never showed up, without Rolf slaying all the monsters she spawns, they eventually become too many, overunning and destorying climatecontrol along with all the dams, ruining motherbrain and putting the earthman's plan on indefinite haitus, thus the worldships fled Algo for nothing, and the people see peace and prosperity in the final days.



So you see, the only way they could save the algo system is not to fight but to get married, i guess it's really true what they say, Marriage is truly mightier than the sword.
