What is Phantasy Star Online? I mean, how is it different from PS 1,2,3,4? :~ Are there PSO roms??

Its consol game Xbox and Gamecube. I'm positive most other people from here will give you a better discreption of it.<p>Anywho its a game that takes place with a ship trying to find inhabital planets to live on, Once pioneer one (a ship) finds an ideal planet they call Pioneer 2 (another ship) to come to the planet(ragol). Just as soon as Pinoeer 2 was about to land a huge explsoin happens, once on the planet their are no signs of any people and what not. i will not go any forther with it that was just a bit of the story line. <p>Ohh and no it isn't on any ROMS.....that i know of?<p>well its multiplayer, Online play(of coarse) you customize your own character and play through the game trying to discover what happened to pioneer 1. Welp someone else will fill in the gaps that i missed so i hope this helps.

Phantasy Star Online is a game taking Phantasy Star elements and creating a whole new story with it. It's an online RPG, but you can play it offline as well.<p>The story is as follows:<br>-----<br>The Pioneer Project<br>A plan born of desperation,<br>conceived in response to<br>the imminent destruction of their home world.<p>As plans for the evacuation began,<br>unmanned probes were sent into deep space<br>to find a habitable planet.<br>When a potential site was discovered,<br>the first interstellar transport ship, Pioneer 1,<br>was send to establish a colony.<p>Pioneer 1 confirmed that the Planet Ragol<br>was a suitable location,<br>and the initial colonists started preparing<br>the planet for the main wave of refugees,<br>beginning with the construction<br>of the Central Dome.<p>7 years later...<p>Pioneer 2 completed its long voyage<br>with the main wave of refugees aboard.<br>But as Pioneer 2 entered orbit and opened<br>a communications link with the Central Dome,<br>an enormous explosion shook the entire planet.<p>All contact with the thousands of<br>men and women of Pioneer 1 was lost...<br>-----<p>That's the prologue. You create your character, and then you either cooperate with others online to go through the main story or take quests, defeating monsters.<br>Offline, you also progress through the main story, and can take quests that further the story bit by bit.<p>The gameplay is that of an action/RPG.<p>This game was released on Dreamcast, GameCube, and XBox.<p>You're not going to find ROMs of it, and we don't condone pirating.

Guy, PSO on ROM? An ISO I would say...<br>It's a great game, but the gameplay has nothing to do with other PS games.
