To make a long story short, I managed to reproduce these bugfixes on a plain old PSIV ROM on my PC and have created IPS patches so that you can use them as well:

Check ps4patch.txt for instructions. I haven't finished testing everything yet, but so far it looks like it works.

I just don't have the patience to grind that far... And it seems kinda pointless to me. I have no use for this patch, altho the bug fix is a nice touch to the V.C. version.

50+? Most of mine was around 45.

Certainly not me! I can't remember the last time I took anyone beyond lv40.

I'm just intrigued that they bothered to fix it for the VC. That service is barebones by design.

Thanks for making it.

Then play Pokemon. Lots of grinding there. :D

As an aside, your PSIV Youtube videos are shorter than listed and horribly out of sync. I've always wanted to see most of those LL attempts, too :(

Pokemon sucks ass... I don't care if it's world famous. I totally HATE Pokemon... Those monsters don't even look appealing, no fun, only what some Japanese girls and kids seem to consider cute... Although Wapanese will go with that too...

Ya know what's good for grinding? PSO... My favorite grinding game... No brain, no story, just loads of grinding.

Add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL (or view in High Quality mode when it's available) and they should work. They were all fine when I first uploaded them, but then Youtube updated something in their software that messed them up somehow.

It does have a story! It just doesn't punch you in the face about it.

Was going to say the same thing. Its not as intensive as others.

WING-0, Tue Jun 23, 2009 3:14 am wrote:Most of the time I play PSO is just for relaxation, I don't read Rico's messages nor fiddle with the communication thingies in Ep2. PSO is for me a method to relax, kill monsters, repeat for several hours and then go to bed feeling like my blood runs nicely...

Sure, if I start reading Rico's capsules I get into the story, but the way I play most of the time is just to feel relaxed, not pressured to go to the next area. That is my favorite aspect of PSO. Something that didn't make it to PSU... sadly...

Abominae, Tue Jun 30, 2009 2:55 pm wrote:I always thought PSO had the potential for an extremely memorable storyline even for those who don't really care for PS titles. I've always wished they would have expanded and elaborated the PSO storyline... This was a big driving factor for why I started making games in the first place. I can tie it all back to PSO.
