Was it because she was killed by Dr. Mad, or that she had a heart attack?<p>Perhaps she was empathically linked to Alis and died due to the distance between them.<p>Maybe she saw the Laconian Pot and it brought back bad (and rather fatal) memories...

what i'm saying is, if you're gonna do a medical experiment on a rare anmal, you don't kill it straight off. all you can do with a dead animal is dissect it. there are lots more interesting things to do with a live animal... especially if it can fly, cast magic and talk. <br>sorry, just my twisted mind working
