So who is planning to purchase this game when it first releases? I myself am planning to go straight into online mode. I'll save offline for when I have ISP downtimes (LOL).
Just wondering who is thinking of joining in early.

yeah lol if I still got a PS2 around that time yeah I'll get it when it comes out.
if I can play online then yeah I'll do it. (lol. Im sure it wont take me weeks to be able to play online like when I first got PSO fro Dreamcast. man I almost gave up but weeks later called Sega and everything to make it connect).

no PSU will not support HDD. even if it does, it's not required.
all character data is saved on their server.

Well then Saner.. If you say the hard drive isn't needed..
How will they do patches? Game updates?
They can't. No memory card will fit the space..
So the PS 2 users will get the short end of the stick, whereas the PC users will get all the updates.
Most of them are happy with subpar games already, so I suppose this wouldn't surprise them.
[Edit by Lord Khyron on [TIME]1122831776[/TIME]]

I'll probably start with the offline game to get familiar with the gameplay, get bored with the story and characters, quit, and start the online mode.

I'll probably buy it around the time it is released, but I won't go online. I don't like online-gaming (especially pay-to-play online) so I'll buy it only for it's main story

Ditto. Games you've got to pay for usually aren't worth it. The worthwhile games will find ways to make it free, such as a Cash for Items store or donations.

No game can be fixed perfectly...hackers will always find a way...
What games need are in-game staff to play the game, like a ghost and when hackers mention something in the open...BAM...death.
