Phantasy Star Cave Message Board

Instead of posting a new thread each time I'm going to put it all here.

Today, more MIDIs were added to the Music section. Two of them are based on Phantasy Star Adventure, even. Also, fan art from Brittany and Gary Storkamp was added to the Phantasy Star Fan Art section.

Yesterday evening I've updated the site.

The Phantasy Star ROMs page has been split into two pages: one for original ROMs and one for fan-translated ROMs. Then I added the Phantasy Star IV English translation prototype ROMs, and what are thought to be beta versions of the Chinese Phantasy Star IV pirate ROM for the NES.

Oh yeah, 'Alien soldiers from another place' is a rough translation of the title, or something to that effect.

These updates were long overdue.

I added the translation of Huey's Adventure, updated the translation of Kinds' Adventure, and added Don Starlancer's PSII Character FAQ.

Yesterday evening the Phantasy Star Generation 1 and Phantasy Star Generation 2 sections went up. A couple pieces of fan art were added as well.

I call him Benny because I've known him for 5 years and I'm allowed. So thar.

The ROM of the Phantasy Star English retranslation has been updated with the latest patch, bumping it to version 1.2.

I've been wondering... Would it be possible to submit requests to both Missagh and Benoit regarding features for both the board and main site?

For example, I'd like to request an increase in "levels" for the board. You know, the Blueberry Demi thing, the Raging Kewl thing... I know it might be silly, yes, but eh. Wouldn't hurt.

Also, I think that people might have more and better ideas than mine.

WING-0, yes the levels will indeed increase visually. When we will upgrade to phpbb3, I will install good feature for it. Ive been planning to remove the current system, as the quite large level image is distracting to the user's avatar... do you agree? Originally, the plan was to make it different to the general star levels that most gaming boards have.

Like I said earlier, if ever you guys make a "Resources" I'll send you some stuff to help out, I've got about 20 files I could easily send over. Contact me and we'll set it up.

It's time for a new update. Time sure flies, because it's been about 10 months since the last one!

The translations of Amia's Adventure, Eusis' Adventure, Nei's Adventure and Rudger's Adventure have been added to the Fan-translated ROMs page. The other four translations have been updated with the most recent patch releases.

Fan art by WING-0 and loon43 has been added to the Phantasy Star Fan Art section.

The updated and new pages have the new sidebar that uses text instead of images for the menu items. Tell me if something's off besides a 1-pixel white gap below the first menu (still need to fix that).

Just a little curiosity but why is the banner (Me and Rune wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year) still there?
