PS Cave needs a makeover

I'm ranting about the current condition of the PS Cave community.
What's ruining this community is the board's current script that desperately needs changing. There are too many gliches and problems that keeps occuring, and Missagh hasn't got a clue on how to handle it. I mean, shit, we had the community closed twice because of crappy Cutecast -- what does that tell you?
Why can't it just be changed to phpBB or Invision Power board or something? They should be far easier to handle than Cutecast.
Anyone else agree?

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1124222925[/TIME]]

Eh....I really like this setup. This website always appeals (spelling?) to me.
As far as ruining the community, the only thing that can ruin the economy are the people. We only ruin it for ourselves.

Well, what I can say now, is that there will be a major update here before 20 of september. And the update will include fixes and updates of the regular PS Cave issues the visitors have, and of course new game sections and new contents in general.
So give me the few weeks left and I'll bet that most visitors will find it very appreciated! Hold your hats! ;)
Yours sincerely,

Just don't change the ability to do the forum and have the games on the left side of the screen. Even while scrolling in a thread, this is the only place I have ever seen it and I think it is the coolest forum ever.
Edit: This is for my first post of the thread. I mentioned economy by accident because I am very angry at gas prices :~

Nice one, Missagh. :)
EDIT: I still think that you should go ahead changing the board script -- you and the community will all benefit from a bulletin board system that is easier to navigate and to maintain.

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1124385454[/TIME]]

In response to that I repeat (not in regards to this thread, as this hasn't been specifically mentioned) that most of us can't edit our profiles.

I find that I must agree with Neo here, I really like the script for these forums, and I find them the easiest forum to get around.
Furthermore, the frames are nearly unique, and can be very useful at points.
(Neo, the 'appeals' was spelt correctly, but you dropped the 'n' from 'can' in your last post. :D )

I like how the message board looks, just not how it functions and constantly glitches.

Why can't it just be changed to phpBB or Invision Power board or something? They should be far easier to handle than Cutecast.

For Christ sakes no! I'm sick of these generic Invision Power board clones and whatnot all over the internet. They're soulless, boring, and pretty much everybody has one. I'll take glitches that can be fixed over some soulless template of a board that everybody else uses too.
Exactly. Who cares about load times? As long as the game is good! As I always say...hehe
