First of all, I want to be the next person to thank Kyence for her work on this. I'm enjoying the extra bits and everything doesn't seem off thematically. I spent almost the entire day playing and I didn't eat until after 11 PM.

Secondly, I'll give her a pass on the hydrofoil/hovercraft being the same thing because I know working with space constraints within stubborn coding is a pain in the ass. But they're not the same. No. Still better than flow-mover or whatever the hell it is.

Third, I dunno about you guys, but I'm finding it a little bit easier. Myau and Lutz have died on me a couple times, but I remember significantly more grinding time with just Alis in the beginning of the original fighting owl bears and scorpions. I do miss the free recovery place in Camineet, though.

Fourth, I was also experiencing graphical glitch issues with PCSX2 and it drove me so crazy that I beat the problem until my fists were bloody (metaphorically) and the lines were gone. For me, it wasn't an interlacing issue but a very specific thing on the GS Plugin configuration. I like the way interlacing looks so I leave that on Auto. I played with things and found that changing the renderer to Direct3D9 (Software) made the lines go away, but I played with it some more and after I put it back on Direct3D9 (Hardware), I left the checkbox for Texture filtering "half" checked (it looks like a green square, just click it till it's not a check or blank) and that fixed everything.

I never used PCSX2 before, so I had to learn my way through it a bit. I have my TV setup as my second monitor and it has to be the primary monitor or I get sound studdering issues in full screen. Turning 5.1 sound on makes the game more thumpy than I thought it would be.

Hello everyone, I'm playing the PSG1 English (having so much fun obviously), BUT i face one issue (a bug?). There's no way i can find the Hovercraft in Bortevo. I've talked to that guy in Casba like hundred times, but still - no luck finding it. Next to each "pile of junk" Alis and all her company say different stuff, but they don't find the Hover.
I wonder if anyone have faced this issue/bug in PSG1 English?
Please advice.

Many people seems to make the same mistake, I guess you all played PS1... Anyway, check the previous posts, the answer has been referred there ;D
PSG:1 has been made more linear than PS1, which means certain optional side-quests have been made imperative to advancing the game's story.

Thanks a lot - there was this "programming misstake" with "SAY" option - You just have to use it in some special place (I've tried this in the various places) - finally it changed in some place and I could proceed further :) So much happy! :)
P.S. Does anyone know, what level Alis (and all other guys) can advance to? As in PS1 it was LV30. Now I'm @ LV63 and looks, like it's so much not the end :) what is the max for PSG1, please?

Lv99 or Lv100, I guess, I didn't try to reach that far... You can try it yourself, if you want.

I've heard PSG:2's maximum is 99- I suspect that G:1 would have the same limit.

Alright, I'm stuck stuck.

1. L1: The party discusses whether or not the Dezorians will like them.
2. As the walkthrough says, talk with everyone in Aukba until their dialogue starts to repeat.
3. L1: The party ponders going to Guaron Morgue through Raquel Pass. Raquel Pass is named when entering it in the game, but is listed as Passageway On Dezoris 4 on the site's Dungeon maps. There are no alternate exits.
4. Travel to Guaron Morgue. Walk a few steps inside until this Dezorian blocks the way and says we need to get permission from the Chieftan.
5. Return to step 1. Repeat forever.

I'm sure I'm missing something but I have absolutely no idea what.

EDIT: Eh, nevermind. This is a weird bug in the game, but what you do to get around it is to be denied permission, then talk to the Chieftain on the west side of Aukba until he says "Ye may get de Dragon Key from Guaron Morgue so ye can dice up de Frost Dragon!" and then the guy will let you into Guaron. For some reason, that dialogue was not triggering for me.

Hello, I created an account just to say thank you for creating this translation. I found it fairly difficult to play in its original Japanese language and shelved it hoping a translation would come out. I had been searching for YEARS for this and you've made it possible to play! :clap:

The publicity and general awareness of this release has gone quite extreme all over the web as we all know. But I have found a great interest in the tons of YouTube videos about it. Everything from playthroughs to reviews.

I saw this review today that I really enjoyed:

That review makes my bullshit detector go off.
  • The guy claims that all the Sega Ages 2500 remakes are better than their originals. Not only is that obviously false but he also admits that the game's way of progression is vastly inferior.
  • How is not being able to save anywhere but having to go up to a terminal an improvement?
  • You could also save five games in the original.
  • What the hell is this about the dungeons being faster in the Japanese version? I think he's mixing things up and referring to the time when the game was developed when dungeon scrolling was faster. It was slowed down due to the dungeon data being compressed. Also, since it's the Japanese version of the remake that was translated, the speed wouldn't have been 'restored'.
