Why would you want to remove IE from Windows? Is it not what you use to browse your computer? Like when you double click on My Computer, or My Documents or whatever? Is that not IE?

[Edit by Tekno-Crystal on [TIME]1089585136[/TIME]]

Windows Explorer is what it is, but I'm refereing to things like the address bar, and the navigaion bar. I believe those are from IE because way back in the times of Windows 95, when Windows didn't come with IE all you had was a windows displaing what was in a folder, nothing fancy like an address or navigation bar.

Okay, so far I like FF, but in Task Manager Processes, it seems to use about 13,000 K more memory than IE uses. Is this normal or is there a way to reduce the usage?

Here is the link to the System Mechanic 4, just click download and I would recommend not getting the Panda Antivirus. http://www.iolo.com/sm/4pro/download.cfm

FF seems likes it is using more memory, but it likely isn't. IE precaches things when you start windows.
Oh... and as soon as I started using FF, I've never gone back to IE. :)
[Edit by Amwhere on [TIME]1089611492[/TIME]]

Yeah, I already like it alot... The only problem I've had so far was logging into eBay. It kept coming up with a cookies error, so I used the Secure login and it worked fine. (Before trying that, I did mess with the cookie settings but to no avail).
