I <3 Carl Sagan...and a lot of other people in those videos. I wouldn't call it hilarious or crazy, but it is actually pretty neat.

Also, for some good crazy now, how about the local news and other stuff autotuned? I think it qualifies as hilarious synth pop, even if it's really really terrible.
