Just select what you're looking for in category. Some games have game specific tools, but for most, you'll need to use a general hex editor or whatever else utility you require.

I don't know if Jedit has hex editing features but I know few for Linux, and I guess you're searcing a Windows one?
Jedit is written in Java so it should run just fine on any platform. Just check if it has any hex editing features.

XVI is a great general purpose hex editor.

XVI sure sounds great, as it can run on most Windowses.
