Pandora handheld console

I'd love to be able to use (and program for) one of these, but if they're having this much trouble completing a 4k order... chances are that it's never going to take off. Someone else with more money will probably come along, make a similar system that does just enough to make it comparable to the Pandora and take their chances with that.

Pandora is a great idea, but I don't think it's going to hit.

I just found a Gentoo port project for Pandora. :o I instantly joined #gentoo-pandora@Freenode. I already use Gentoo daily on my laptop, so this is certainly a good news for me.

While we (?) are waiting for Pandora, Nokia is pushing new tablet out. It sure has very nice features, but what goes playing games - no, no with that keyboard, unless the games you're playing are turn based RPGs... After saying that, this nice gadget just might end in my pocket sooner or later.

An open "console" would be awesome, though. Sony and Nintendo ought to learn from them and allow for homebrew without having to crack their system with a custom firmware.

It's ridiculous, the true potential of the PSP has been and is still exploited by the hackers, not by Sony themselves...

How's a PDA system sound to you? Sony is doing NOTHING of the sort. I'm betting that Pandora thingy is going to be a box full of frickin' wonders...

I hope it SOMEHOW catches on... Because these big companies are being run by retards that can only follow a cue, it seems...

There have already been open consoles, like the GP32 and the GP2X. While they sold modestly for devices with zero marketing, it wasn't exactly something to write home about. They were mostly used as portable emulators.

I once thought getting GP2X, but then I heard of Pandora... Long, long time ago.
