You mean some people are saying PSIII's monster animations are great?

I'm a PSIII fan, but I would never claim this.
The face with the wiggling ear attack made me laugh.

Agreed. I never expected to fight a monster who could kill me with his ears.
I wonder what people will see in the final days?

Mooses (plural, not the prophet) are quite funny too. But can't beat the stone face.

A friend described them as Godzilla.

Is it just me, or is there some enemies from PSI,II, IV are in this game as well, but have a different names (excluding Chippies). Like dire and the others are the Chaos Sorcerers and the like, Wizard is the long armed fellows call D-Elm-Lars (Capeone from PSII) and same fore some of there partners in crime. It seems the in PS games the Chaos sorcerers had the longest track record (PS I- Online).

Chaos Sorcerers have lasted form game to game, much like Tonberries from Final Fantasy, as some of the last dungeon bosses. It's no surprise there are recurring themes... they're usually viewed as easter eggs. It's also a marketing technique: People who don't know what the easter egg is referring to will grow curious, and possibly seek to buy the game...

The generations. They had some good ideas with this game, but it was too much work for such a small time.
