The walking speed in PSII and PSIII is a (tiny) bit too slow, but not that much that it would make these games any less entertaining. Anyway I always forget the speed factor after few minutes of play.
Anyway. If some think that it's too slow then try it out on an amulator and speed it up by yourself.
Remember Lufia? The walking speed in towns/cities was quite fast as far as I can remember... Nice idea to change the speed in "safe places".

The battle system was/is just bit more advanced (/complicated ?) than in PSII. It looks bit more dull (like some kind of beta version interface) than in PSII, but it has more features: long distance weapons, max four groups of enemies... and so on. I have explained it more in my other post.Fenix wrote:my main dislikes about PS3 were the battle system and the corny looking enemy animations (giants wiggling their thumb at you... OHNO!)
Still a good game with excellent music and story.
