Due to lack of interest from the community, i removed everything. about this game.
If people start showing interest again, i will post what i am working on.
As of this time, i see no sense keeping information posted here...
You can find information in other places... just look up "Solar Phantasy".
Peace out all.

I'd make the menus opaque so they'd remind the player more of Phantasy Star II.

The font is all right.

I don't understand what would be first person about the PSI style if the characters would still show up at all. I'm open to both styles, but most people will prefer a third person view.

Were people really that harsh? I guess I missed that. >.> The thing is, you'll get nowhere by trying to please others. So it's good that you're doing this for yourself, you'll be happier in the end without any commitments to anyone but yourself. And I'll simply leave it at that.

Now addressing what you requested feedback on:

- Menu Graphics: I like it. I'd probably bump over the party window a little, but other than that it's fine how it is. But I do think PSIV fonts would be interesting to see a shot of for comparison's sake.

- Battle System: Everyone is fond of PSIV's battles. However, PSI is easier to replicate due to no characters to animate. I think it depends on how large of a cast you're dealing with vs how much work you're willing to invest into this project.

- PSI Styled dungeons are possible with the right script. I'd honestly love to see this implemented in a fan game, it'd be an awesome nod to PSI.

I'm not as active on the board as I used to be due to real life commitments, but if you need an opinion, drop me a PM if you want. ^-^ Good luck with this game, it seems promising so far.

I know. Ah, I see where I misread now. My bad.

""They look bad?""
Character's design looks bad. Recolored Alys and Chaz. Facemaker looks bad too.
It's just my opinion...

That's a pretty cool idea, actually. Approved! *stamps Mike's forehead*

You're totally right in starting with simplified and quick-to-draw graphics. Losing time on it is the best way to give up your project.

To be true, so far, they look decent and sprites and background mix well.

Good luck for the remaining work, which seems still huge.

On top of that, if you look REALLY close, you can see the shading i have done... you can easily compare what i have so far to... you know what? I don't have to explain myself, again.. you DON'T have to play it.......

Calm down, pale. I just say my opinon and that's all. Why so much angry?
Me tried to help, not more than that
