Japanese inside : what does it mean ?

Hi,

I'm looking into DAT files of PSG1 and PSG2 (to code some script helping text edition, among other things) and I found this piece of text Kyence didn't translate (I suppose it doesn't appear in the game).

Could someone tell me if it is proper japanese, and what does it mean ?

It stands for "Nothing in particular." or "nothing." A couple of times in PSG1 I translated it to "Nope," since it has the same letters, but it never showed up. Sometimes place holder text at some multiples of 800h will have only this text. It is never used in PSG1. I think it's back to when you would hit the talk button when someone wasn't there and it would say "There's no one here..." I think that this was for that. I do not know if PSG2 has that option. If it doesn't, it's best to leave it in Japanese.
