Does anyone have a phantasy star font so that I could type dialogue?

Yeah I shall change the level under her feets (I tried with the second pic) and might change the statues also

Anna looks good. But for trying to find a font, hmmm, someone may have to make one. And I'm willing to bet that's no easy task. But it would be helpful. I just tried to find Phantasy Star fonts, no luck.

But the sprites are looking great, either way.

Looking for text dialogues of PSIV I found those links leading to every single map of PSIV. It's nice.

Then I also made a pic quickly to gather PS letters

Here we go with the Nei Project





You probably recognized the Neifirst drawn by Andrew from I'll intent. Andrew, if you see that image sorry for not having asked before using it but just to let you know, I'm a big fan of your's.

What takes a lot of time isn't really the character sprite but the background and the little effects (bubbles and stuff) plus according the colors of every elements.
I don't know how many hours I spent on the background but it's still lacking harmony, mostly because of the angle of the tube I guess...

I don't know...

At any rate, the sprites have been looking great, as well as the backgrounds. And as for Nei, yeah, I think you should do her with the style Andrew from I'll intent drew, which is actually how she looks anyway.

Indeed, my bad, I should have thought about it.
I just had the picture for ages in my computer under the Nei file and never renamed it.
I have too few NM-2011 to create a proper file for her.

Was my font of no use?

Your help has also been much apreciated Benoit and as a matter of fact, as soon as you published the font, I hurried on internet and search the way to make a font out of it.

And well... for now it's just too much for my little abilities to handle. I spent all night trying to figure it out though but now I'm a bit more informed on those font programs (it didn't go to waste)

I'll have to stick to the copy and past method for a little more I guess.

Anything to help a fellow Phantasy Star fan. But, how's the progress on the actual Nei sprite? Yeah, I'll admit it, I'm a bit of Nei fanatic, but at least I don't talk about her on all the forums I go to, all the time.

I made this one with Nei.

As a matter of fact I had done another Nei sprite but I wanted to see if my method could work with a character in a sitting position.

How about it?

The first gore image and it happens to be with Nei.
I had to change it many times because of the knees which at first were too confused and confusing.
Then I realised that I had to contrast with the stone (which is the same color as the knees) and once again I had to change the stone color because I made it too dark and we couldn't see the feets...
Maybe I should recolor the stone with their true color

That's pretty good! But, could we see both Nei sprites side by side? Or did you delete the other one? Otherwise I think the one you showed looks pretty good.

And is the pic with Nei's face, a recolor of Rika? Cause I don't remember that particular pose anywhere, unless I'm forgetting a scene. Either way, she looks cute and happy. Even though she is sitting next to a bleeding dead body.

Usually, I try to think about a story that could happen with the sets/background, I think I have my next image that could be interesting.
Here I also edited a little the "sitting Nei"...

The sitting one have a more voluminous hair style like in the late 80's, 90's maybe.

Anything anyone is wishing to see?

Hmm, the pic looks good, even for being a quicky.

But, I would like to see Nei either walking, running, or fighting. But it is nice you made sitting sprites for her. What are all the frames for her going to sit down? Just wondering.
