Unfortunately, I've just run into the glitch just outside Paseo when grinding for EXP. The after-battle screen froze at INDIVIDUAL'S EXPERIENCE. The music played normally, though.

I wouldn't chalk it up to it being an Open PS2 Loader glitch (though the first game had a minor graphics corruption when playing from SMB), since at least one person, skull_monkey, wasn't playing using OPL and the glitch still happened. DarkForce1376 didn't write what method of playing the game he was using.

If I may make an educated guess, this might be related to item drops. I haven't seen one yet after playing over an hour, so I have an inkling this might be it. Still just a guess, though.

I might try playing the Japanese version for a comparable amount of time to see if I can reproduce the glitch. Such semi-random crashes are hell to debug, though.

I have never received an item drop! I get the the crash about once an hour. Happens all over the place.

That's how it shows up in window mode using pcsx2.

The ripped images, like cutscene artworks, also are in that size, meaning it's the game's native resolution.

Oh yeah, that's right! I had totally forgotten about that!
And I noticed that a few years ago only to then forget...

For those of you posting snapshots, look at PrinceMoonrise's ones, those are in the game's native resolution.

I really appreciate those of you who are resizing their screenshots. Just please know this is a request of a fellow forumgoer, since I'm not affiliated with the PS gen:2 translation. Just a big fan!

If you're looking for grammatical errors, I noticed these in the last conversation of the game...

Rearrange: (blue) in front of the word "planet", instead of "radiant blue Milky Way" like it is.

Add: (') it's last (as in Earth's last).

Add: (be) You may have brought about Mother Brain's destruction, but it will BE very easy for us to create a new system to control Algol again.

I tend to use an external link to an image host instead of embedding images into forums.
It makes the forum cleaner, it keeps it loading fast for others, and it doesn't mess things up for those browsing via mobile devices or low-bandwidth devices.

I would sincerely suggest that others do the same, as embedding the full-size images is not ideal for forums to do in most cases.
But it would need to be the forum admins that turn of the IMG tags and perhaps replace it with SPOILER tags instead.

It would help for walls of text and for the current embedded images

I don't know what the "Earth's last" thing refers to, but does the text really say "its last"? Because that's the correct usage of its. When we say, for example, "last of it" in contraction form, it becomes "its last" because "it's" always means "it is" or "it was." Changing it from its to it's would make it "it is last".

If it says "Earths last" instead of "Earth's last," then yeah, definitely fix it.
