Hey guys!
I've been a huge fan of this site for like 10 years now, I just wanted to post here and say thanks to the whole team translating this game (and the site admins!!) for their hard work!
I never *sniff* thought anyone would give this game the love it deserves.. And once AGES did and didn't release it in English I lost even more hope!
If there's anything I can do to help, no matter how menial, let me know! I'm not a deeply experienced coder, I don't know Japanese but I do know a little French! My passion for PSII is massive so let me know.

Is it possible that we can get another English translation update? What would be completely awesome would be another deadline like the french version had. Would make for an amazing Xmas gift just sayin

While an update is possible, a deadline for such an extensive translation project like this will very likely be inaccurate. Rest assured, I am sure Kyence and the team are spending any free time they have to make this possible!

I wouldn't advice to use a deadline as the project is not finished yet.

We did it because the translation was finished, we were just keep polishing it and we thought "we should release it one day or we'll polish it forever" xD

I personally sent the final version of the french script (though I sent months ago a first version of our script), the one used for the release, to Kyence, as she read french, hoping it might help her

And I'm pretty sure you wouldnt like an english translation done by me, except if it was heavily edited before release

Hi, all. Quick update: waiting on three files from some helpers. I'm chugging along at a snail's pace, but seem to be picking up steam again. I'd like it to be done before end of 2015, and so long as I don't have any health or work issues that screwed up 2014 for me, I'll have a better idea of a specific deadline in 2015. I'm sorry it's taking so long; let's just say I am more than ready for the new year.

I am available for any font/graphics assistance. I have worked on the UI for the current version of PCGen and have been a designer for 10 years. I would be glad to help!

I made an interesting observation while proof-reading the French translation. Almost (if not) all NPCs' names are jewish and more precisely from the Bible.
...
While I'm at it : there's a NPC named Begin (in romaji, knowing that the b could be a v). I can't see a name (hebraic or anything) sounding like that. Do someone have an idea ?

Hey all, been following the translation efforts for like a year (wishing there was something I could do to help, but I'm not skilled at anything useful) and just wanted to chime in how grateful I am for all the hard work you guys are doing on this. I played the PSG1 English translation, and it was amazing, and PS2 was a much better game (in my opinion) so I'm even more excited for this one, no matter how long it takes.

Ok so the game is translated into French yet the English version isn't done yet, what is going on?
Send me the script. I'll bang out a French to English translation in a week. We're also talking about a game that is already in English and this is just a translation of the remake. >_>

There's no need to do double the effort. There are tons of people who can do French to English far easier than Japanese to English.
Upload the script and let the community (and myself) finish the fight.
