29 August 2012 update:

The Phantasy Star Generation 1 English Translation is finally here! This is a complete fan translation of the Playstation 2 remake of the original Phantasy Star 1. Raise your hats to Kyence for making this possible!

The same one that is suggested in the Readme file is available for Linux. I don't know how well it works on it but I saw that there was a version for it on the official site.

This ambiguity is why I advocate PSII for Phantasy Star II and PS2 for PlayStation 2. The series uses roman numerals, after all.

On the same machine, Windows version worked while Linux didn't. I suppose it depends on the state of graphical drivers and thus on the model of your GPU.

I can't access to the main page. After the Intro page, I click on 'English', and am redirected to a page where I'm told the ol main page moved, that I should update my bookmarks, and a link to the new main page. Except that this link redirect me to the intro page, where I can only click on 'English' and so on...

Try refreshing on the intro page or clearing the browser cache- the intro page was removed, it seems.

Also, I would like to remind everyone to please continue supporting the translation project by spreading the word!

Benoit has added a code to the Header of the index page which will ensure to refresh any old cache. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and the Enter page is still there hidden :) I need to use it for the upcoming site history page (if there will ever be one that is)...
